Excerpt Note on two pottery assemblages found during the rescue excavations in the Tunari area, Ilfov County

On the left bank of Tunari Lake was done rescue archaeological research in 2005 and 2006. In two archaeological points was found pottery from a post roman epoch. Taking into consideration the characteristics of the ceramic we propose the following chronology.
The first lot of pottery, from street Oituz no. 14, can be dated in first half of the IIIrd ccntury. It is a red wheel made pottery of roman tradition. The second lot from street Oituz no. 29 is better represented, also was found disturb by medieval buildings. This time it is a grey pottery, most of it is wheel made. The most interesting is a bowl fragment that imitate the glass bowls in shape and decoration. The datation for this second lot of ceramic is in the first half of the IVth century.
