Excerpt The Livedea Gospod / St. Emperors Constantine and Helen church

West zone of Bucharest was full of orchards and vineyards for a long time. The town enlarged in XVIIIth century such as the development of street tram proves it.
In 1785, on a land of the reign - Livedea Gospod – the handicraftsmen of zone, as founders, built a church. The building is a small one and belongs to a style specific for post Brancoveanu epoch. The church was painted inside at the same period.
The difficult and tumultuous history of the church was straight connected to the evolution of territory, the relationship between the priests and the parishioners and last but not least the Commission of Historical Monuments.
